A trip to West Dorset wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the wonderful Bridport Yarn, where some small purchases were made (more about this in a later post)!

If you’re interested in making your own pebble cosies, there is a great tutorial here. Alternatively you can just crochet your own motif, measure it against the pebble to ensure that it is roughly the same size using increases to adjust the fit, place the pebble inside, then decrease in, gathering the cosy around your pebble.

Thanks 🙂 its not too far from where we live so it was a bonus not to have to spend all day travelling to get there. Didn’t want to take our old dog too far this year… Would be nice to explore a bit more of East Dorset too. Poole, Swanage, Thomas Hardy Country… Didn’t have time this summer though, we’ll have to save it for another trip! X

Thanks Joy, we were so lucky with the weather this holiday, only one very rainy day. Sunshine makes all the difference, although Dorset is always a lovely place to be 🙂 thanks for your kind comments about my scarf & pebble cosies – the cosies are quite addictive once you start making them! X
