I like Dhurrie bc it’s a modern twist to the cape and I love that it has a scarf attached.

I love Berenice Wrap, is chic and romantic.
I love Vivaldi – the neck is so different and interesting.
So many fabulous designs… but my eye keeps going back to Aida. Love that brocade design!
The whole magazine is beautiful as always but my favourite is the Crystal wrap sweater. I love Kidsilk Haze and the attached shawl wrap is so pretty and unique.
I like the grey snuggly hat. Not that I can knit ! X
I like Alcina’s simplicity and luxurious drape.

I love Salome. It’s romantic, fluffy, lacy and ruffly. With just a hint of sexy.Everything I adore about kid mohair. Love it!

I love the sweater in romantic section with the ruffles around the waist. I never thought that I would LIKE ruffles around a waist, but this sweater is absolutely gorgeous.

As always, Rowan has made CO difficult! Such beautiful designs and such little time. I know I would CO Salome for my stepdaughter who is getting married in February 2014. Wouldn’t that beautiful sweater look gorgeous for a rehearsal dinner?

Hi Claire! I just love the folk-inspired sweater. It is showcases a beautiful palette of colours in an intricate design that I would aspire to make my own. I have spent the last two years training as a folk musician here in the north of Sweden and, on my musical travels, I have seen similar yarn artistry as a reflection of the musical and cultural traditions in Scandinavia. Much of the work I am influenced by has multi-stranded colourwork here in Sweden and in Norway. This Eastern European folky style would blend in very well as there are similarities across many folk cutures. It would look – and feel – very fine to wear this at a folk music gig, playing the clarinet, keeping warm from the cold, perpetual snowflakes falling outside the window….

You asked which design I prefer in this very magazine… it is defintiley and without doubt the Salome sweater from the “Romancing Collection”. Why? The answer is simple and irrevocable: this sweater is amazingly beautiful! The soft colour like icecream, the fluffy yarn like clouds in a hazy sky, the romantic and so very artistic design, all of this make it a dream!!! The girl looks like a fairy in it and the only thing I can think about is to wear it as quick as possible. But first, I have to knit it 😉 Thank you for your nice blog and hope to talk to you soon!
